We are recruiting on behalf of a rapidly growing Texas-based MEP engineering firm with multiple offices. The firm is known for its collaborative, non‑corporate culture and high‑profile projects in healthcare, K‑12, colleges/universities, and commercial facilities. They offer a half‑day every Friday, strong professional growth opportunities, a creative, team‑oriented work environment, and this position is based in Bryan, TX.
Day‑to‑day responsibilities include supporting the design and documentation of electrical systems that power and operate buildings. Working under the guidance of senior engineers and project managers, you will contribute to coordinated, high‑quality designs, gain hands‑on project experience, expand technical skills, and build a path toward becoming a Professional Engineer.
Responsibilities- Assist in the design and documentation of electrical systems for assigned facilities projects.
- Create drawings, specifications, and other design documents in accordance with company standards.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and other disciplines to develop coordinated designs.
- Participate in internal design reviews and apply feedback to improve quality and accuracy.
- Support QA/QC processes by preparing documents for review.
- Attend project meetings and contribute to discussions on design development and coordination.
- Maintain proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD through active project work.
- Seek mentorship and training to expand technical knowledge and professional growth.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an electrical engineer with facilities building systems in healthcare, education, or commercial facilities.
- Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam.
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD with hands‑on design experience.
- EIT certification or close to obtaining it is preferred.
- Ability to work fully on‑site in Bryan, TX.
- Competitive salary range of $75,000 to $85,000 based on experience.
- Half‑day Fridays year‑round.
