Job Summary and Responsibilities

As a Respiratory Therapist, you will join an established team of RTs who share your passion for delivering highly specialized cardiopulmonary care to patients experiencing breathing issues. You'll be instrumental in providing a range of treatments from breathing techniques and nebulizer treatments to ventilator management, oxygen therapies, and external ventilation support.

• Administering therapy modalities which include, but are not limited to, Hand held Nebulizer (HHN), HHN via metered dose inhaler (HHN/MDI), Intrapulmonary Percussive Ventilation (IPV), Chest Physical Therapy (CPT), Pentamidine therapy
• Administering medical gas therapy including oxygen and Helium-Oxygen Therapy (HeO2)
• Performing ventilation therapies, including maintenance and management of life support systems
• Performs physiological monitoring and diagnostic testing including ABG puncture, bronchoscopy assistance, pulmonary function testing, bedside PFT's, metabolic monitoring, apnea monitoring, transcutaneous monitoring, capnography, pulse oximetry, and sleep apnea assessment
• Performs specialized procedures which include but are not limited to CPR, bronchial lavage, transport, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, artificial and tracheostomy airway care, and body mechanics/ambulation

• Completion of Respiratory Care degree program
• RCP (TX)
• RRT Certification
• BLS-CPR — Within 14 days of hire
• ACLS — Within 6 months of hire

Pay Range $24.27 – $36.10 /hour
