Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Long-Term Care
LP Therapy
LP Therapy is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide patient-centered therapy services in a Long-Term Care setting under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
Responsibilities- carry out established plans of care
- administer therapeutic exercises and modalities
- assist patients with mobility, transfers, ambulation, and daily living activities
- monitor and report patient progress to the Physical Therapist
- fit and train patients on assistive devices
- complete timely and accurate Medicare and facility documentation
- collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- support patient satisfaction, quality outcomes, and productivity standards
- Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant
- current state PTA license
- LTC experience preferred
- knowledge of Medicare documentation
- strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
LTC facility; physical demands consistent with therapy services, including lifting and mobility assistance.
