Retail Sales Associate - Part Time - 2405 at First Cash

We are currently looking for the right Part-Time Retail Sales Associate to join our Team. The hourly pay is $11.00 to $14.00 per hour, with an easily achievable commission structure that pays you for every transaction you process. The retail sales associates can earn up to 8% on transactions, which could average an additional amount on top of the hourly rate.

Position includes working in pawn store locations nationwide, assisting with both lending and retail transactions and engaging with customers across a variety of merchandise.

• Greets and interacts with customers to develop rapport and provide appropriate financial solutions
• Perform non-management open/close procedures
• Keep the sales floor clean, stocked, and maintain merchandise displays
• Process sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies and procedures
• Handle cash and negotiable items per established policies
• Answer incoming calls per company standards
• Explain legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and managers; contribute to a positive customer experience
• Complete assigned training and contribute to store teamwork
• Other related duties as assigned

• Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds
• Must be willing and able to stand, walk, and perform duties for extended periods
• Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified (where applicable)
• May assist customers on exterior of building or retrieve products from storage areas
• Minimum Age: 18 years old
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• Strong desire to work, serve customers, and be team-oriented
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and perform basic math
• Cash handling experience preferred
• Ability to work across multiple locations as needed and a flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays
• Computer literate; able to operate POS systems

The employee commission incentive plan is proprietary to First Cash. Pawnbrokers have the potential to earn 2-8% commission based on personal performance. More details are provided during the interview process.
