As a Security Officer - Armed Retail Patrol in Bryan, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a retail location, you will conduct regular patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. This armed and driving role involves interacting with the public, responding to incidents, and providing excellent customer service while upholding our values of teamwork, reliability, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding appropriately to emergencies when required.
• Perform regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation techniques as needed.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and key areas within the retail environment to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other prohibited activities.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patrols, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
• Interact with employees, visitors, and/or customers in a professional and courteous manner while upholding site policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders as needed during incidents or critical events.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Have at least 6 months of experience in armed security, law enforcement, and/or military roles.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Hold a Level III Armed Certification if applying in Texas.
• Have at least 5 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
