• Operating a motor grader:
  Using precise controls to move the blade, shape the ground, and create the desired final surface. Must be able to use GPS and must be able to FINISH.
• Grading and leveling:
  Performing both rough and finish grading to meet project specifications, which can include cutting ditches, building up road crowns, and shaping slopes.
• Site work:
  Moving materials like dirt and rocks to prepare and maintain the work area.
• Equipment maintenance:
  Performing routine inspections, greasing, and adjusting the equipment.
• Safety:
  Adhering to all company safety protocols and using proper worksite signals.

• Heavy equipment experience:
  Proficiency in operating a motor grader is essential.
• Grading knowledge: A strong understanding of grading techniques and the ability to read blueprints, grade stakes, and use GPS systems is a must.
• Diligence:
  The ability to achieve tight finish grade accuracy is crucial.
• Physical and communication skills:
  The ability to work independently or as part of a team and effective communication skills are important for success.
