Position Overview: The Order Selector is responsible for accurately selecting and building customer orders assigned through the Encompass app. Working in a fast‑paced environment, this position plays a key role in preparing product for next‑day delivery by ensuring each order is picked correctly, staged properly, and ready for transport. Order Selectors help maintain smooth warehouse operations by completing all assigned orders with accuracy, efficiency, and care, while contributing to overall warehouse cleanliness and organization.

• Order Selection:
  Use the Encompass app to view assigned customer orders and follow pick paths to gather the correct products.
• Order Building:
  Build customer orders accurately and efficiently by staging, stacking, and wrapping product for delivery.
• Accuracy & Quality:
  Double‑check products and quantities to ensure each order is complete and meets quality standards.
• Inventory Handling:
  Handle all products with care to prevent damage and report any inventory shortages or discrepancies.
• Workflow Completion:
  Continue building orders until all assignments for the shift are complete and verified.
• Warehouse Coordination:
  Communicate with warehouse leads and supervisors to resolve issues or clarify order details.
• Cleanliness:
  Dispose of plastic wrap, broken pallets, and other waste materials in designated areas throughout the shift.
• Team Contribution:
  Assist other selectors or breakers as needed to ensure all orders are completed on time.
• Equipment Operation:
  Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely and according to company policy.
• Work Area Maintenance:
  Keep assigned work areas clean and organized throughout the shift.
• Lifting & Handling:
  Safely lift and move products up to 50 lbs while following proper handling techniques and safety protocols.
• Other Duties:
  Demonstrate flexibility and initiative by performing other job‑related tasks as assigned to support warehouse operations.

• Starting Salary: $37,000 on a Fluctuating Work Week Pay Method.
• Schedule:
  
  Monday – Friday, Workday begins at 11:30 AM.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous warehouse or order picking experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems; experience with Encompass is a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, physically demanding environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks requiring frequent standing, bending, and reaching.
• Ability to follow instructions, complete tasks independently, and meet shift expectations.
• Commitment to following safety procedures and maintaining a clean, organized work environment.
• Willingness to work in a fast‑paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.
