Tax Accountant

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tax Accountant to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax preparation and accounting, with a passion for helping clients navigate their financial needs. This role requires excellent communication skills, a high level of professionalism, and the ability to work effectively within a small team environment.

• Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, and fiduciary tax returns.
• Conduct tax research and stay up-to-date with current tax laws and regulations.
• Provide tax planning and consulting services to clients.
• Assist clients with tax notices and audits from the IRS and state agencies.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and exceptional service.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely delivery of services.
• Maintain confidentiality of all financial information and client interactions.
• Utilize tax software and accounting systems to prepare and file tax returns accurately.

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA certification or Enrolled Agent (EA) designation is a plus.
• Public experience preferred
• Proficiency in tax software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
