Senior Environmental Engineer – Bryant, AR (Hybrid) Summary
We are seeking a Senior Environmental Engineer with a strong background in water resources and environmental engineering to join our team in Bryant, AR
. This position focuses on managing and supporting projects in stormwater, industrial wastewater, and watershed management
. The ideal candidate will have a degree in civil, environmental, or biological/ecological engineering and significant experience with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, water quality, NPDES permitting, and stormwater management
.
- Lead or support projects related to industrial wastewater troubleshooting
, stormwater pond design
, and hydrology/hydraulics
. - Develop and review technical documents using MS Word, Excel, and AutoCAD
. - Design and implement plans for pollution prevention
, SWPPPs
, and SPCC in compliance with federal and state regulations. - Perform hydrologic/hydraulic modeling and water quality analysis for streams, rivers, and stormwater systems.
- Prepare technical support for NPDES permitting
, 404/408 permits
, and water quality standards
. - Design and support implementation of stormwater controls and wastewater/water treatment systems
. - Run or assist with watershed modeling and water quality modeling (nice to have).
- Support ecological restoration and environmental compliance projects.
- Develop design documents
, capital cost estimates
, and coordinate with vendors and project partners. - Maintain effective communication with clients, regulators
, and internal teams
, both in the office and on site. - Conduct field data collection and site visits as needed.
- BS in Civil, Environmental, or Biological/Ecological Engineering (ABET accredited).
- Registered Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in water/wastewater or environmental engineering.
- Proven experience in stormwater management
, industrial wastewater
, hydraulics/hydrology
, and NPDES permitting
.
- Familiarity with watershed modeling
, groundwater quality
, and SPCC planning
. - Experience supporting ecological or watershed restoration
. - Strong understanding of state and federal water regulations
.
