Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) – Healthy Connections, Inc.
Be the first smile our patients see. The Patient Care Coordinator will serve as the face of our Hot Springs clinic and a vital part of our patients' experience from the moment they walk through the door.
ResponsibilitiesManage appointments, greet patients, answer phones, schedule appointments, update electronic health records, verify insurance, and collect payments. Work closely with providers, nurses, and other coordinators to ensure each patient has a smooth and welcoming experience. Teamwork and communication are essential in our fast‑paced environment.
Key Qualities for Success- Lead with empathy and kindness, especially in stressful situations.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with patients of all backgrounds.
- Juggle multiple tasks without losing attention to detail.
- Be solution‑oriented and create a calm environment even when busy.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Two years of experience in a medical office or similar customer‑facing role.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and electronic medical records systems.
- Ability to travel to multiple locations, as needed.
- Preferred:
Bilingual (English/Spanish).
