Pharmacy Technicians play a critical role in supporting our pharmacy teams to consistently deliver on our brand promise. As a Technician you will support the pharmacy team in delivering operational and service excellence within your store, being the first point of contact to assist patients and customers, and ensuring prescriptions are filled promptly, safely and accurately while providing caring service that exceeds expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Live our purpose by following all company SOPs at each workstation to help our Pharmacists manage and improve patient health.
- Follow pharmacy workflow procedures at each workstation (production, pick‑up, drive‑thru, and drop‑off) for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
- Contribute to positive patient experiences by showing empathy and genuine care, offering immunizations, and demonstrating compassionate care by solving or escalating patient problems.
- Complete basic inventory activities as permitted by law and directed by pharmacy leadership (e.g., cycle counts, returns‑to‑stocks, waiting bin inventories).
- Embrace a growth mindset, actively seek opportunities to expand clinical and technical knowledge, and contribute to a high‑performing team.
- Remain flexible for scheduling and business needs, including voluntary travel to stores in the market as required.
- Understand and comply with all relevant federal, state, and local laws, regulations, professional standards, and ethical principles, ensuring patient safety and privacy.
- Deliver additional patient health care services (immunizations, point‑of‑care testing, and optionally stocking off‑site clinics) where permissible.
- Complete additional licensure and training to obtain Technician Immunizer status.
- Educate patients about vaccines and refer vaccination questions to the Pharmacist‑on‑duty.
- Monitor and respond to adverse reactions; report events per public health requirements.
- Review, collect, and document patient information for each applicable patient.
- Monitor and manage vaccine supplies.
- Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements governing practice (age, education, licensure).
- If no minimum age is mandated, must be at least 16 years old.
- If no minimum educational requirement is mandated, must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled.
- State‑level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.
- Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
- Ability to complete required training within the designated timeframe.
- Attention and focus on tasks, ability to pivot quickly between tasks.
- Confirm prescription information and label accuracy to ensure patient safety.
- Customer service and team orientation: friendly assistance and responsive to patient reactions.
- Communication: use verbal and written communication; active listening and clear instructions.
- Mathematical reasoning for dispensing calculations.
- Problem resolution: identify and choose best courses of action.
- Physical demands: mobile, upright, lift, reach, fine‑motor work, visual acuity, weight limits (up to 20 lbs).
- Express ideas verbally and receive detailed information orally.
- Perform additional tasks as directed by Supervisor or Manager.
- 1‑3 years of previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
- Experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting.
- Ability to work in the home store and across the market in other locations to meet business needs.

Pay Range: $16.00 – $24.00 (base hourly/annual salary; actual offer depends on experience, education, geography, and other factors)
