- Mon-Fri 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
- Mon-Fri 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
- Sat & Sun 7:00 AM - 9:00 PM

Job SummaryResponsible for carrying out the instructions of the Director of Wellness. Supervise and monitor nursing staff to obtain highest quality care by performing routine nursing duties. Accountable to Director of Wellness/Executive Director for all nursing department activities and maintaining the corporate philosophy of quality care.
Duties and Responsibilities- Supervise HHAs, CNAs and the facility staff.
- Make daily rounds of all Assisted Living residents and retirement residents if needed.
- Observes and reports symptoms and conditions of patients to Director of Wellness “DOW” /Delegating R.N./Physician.
- Administers medications and treatments per signed doctor’s orders in an accurate, safe manner, observes effectiveness and reports to physician if needed.
- Informs DOW of when supplies and equipment are needed.
- Orders medication from pharmacy when needed.
- Supervises the Home Health Aide to ensure that all nursing care is given properly, safely and of the up most quality.
- Administers emergency first aid.
- Assures that daily assignments for patient care, incidental duties, performed by nurse and HHA as outlined by Director of Wellness are carried out. Re:
Nurse/HHA documentation, Ex: V/S, weights, nurse’s notes, medication, kardex, etc. - Make daily rounds of all patients and area. Recognize, interpret and report conditions to the DOW/RN/ED as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and neatness of nurse’s station, med room and cart.
- Assist in the orientation of new staff.
- Complete admission and discharge evaluations as necessary.
- Check equipment for cleanliness and condition.
- Provide guidance for nursing assistants.
- Promote and maintain good interpersonal relationships with residents, visitors…
