Position: (HIGH IMPACT) DIRECT JUVENILE SUPPORT WORKER

Direct Juvenile Support Worker

Join a group of passionate advocates on our mission to improve the lives of youth! Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Direct Juvenile Support Worker at The Arkansas Juvenile Assessment and Treatment Center (AJATC) in Bryant, Arkansas.

AJATC is a secure residential program for at‑risk male and female youth located on 110 acres just outside of Little Rock, AR. The campus includes residential student dormitories, on‑site school and library, vocational training, chapel, gymnasium, medical and outdoor recreation areas.

Pay: $17.75–$18.82 per hour based on education and experience.
Schedule: 4 days on / 3 off – 3 days on / 4 off. FULL‑TIME only. Guaranteed overtime 4 hours each pay period.

What You Will Do
  • Provide in‑person safety and security around the clock.
  • Meet the physical, personal, and health needs of each youth through individual mentoring and skill development.
  • Monitor and document behaviors and activities, participate in educational, social, athletic and recreational activities.
  • Collaborate with professional staff to establish and meet treatment goals for each youth.
  • Support the High Impact Program.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum age 21.
  • Valid driver’s license and eligible to become an ROP‑eligible driver.
  • Pass a criminal background check, drug test, physical exam, TB test, and search of the child and adult abuse central registry.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to follow direction, work independently, and maintain a safe environment.
  • Prior experience with youth or in a residential setting is a plus.
