** SCOPE OF POSITION
** OSU Harding Hospital/East Hospital-Talbot Hall provides the most comprehensive behavioral healthcare services for adults, older adults, and adolescents in central Ohio. We offer more treatment options and a more experienced and diversified staff than any other psychiatric or behavioral healthcare provider in the area. All of our outpatient, IOP, and Partial Hospitalization services include a comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis from a qualified clinician and implementation of an individualized treatment plan.
We offer specialized evidence-based services for patients experiencing Mood and Anxiety Disorders, , , - and Stress-Related Disorders, and Sexual Dysfunction. We offer specialty programs in Women’s Behavioral Health, Addictions, Trauma, and Neurocognitive Disorders. Talbot Hall provides the most comprehensive addiction services for adults in central Ohio, offering specialized evidence-based services for patients experiencing a Substance Use Disorder. We offer traumatic brain injury specific treatment, the latest Medicated Assisted Treatment for opiate and alcohol use disorders.
We offer Detox, Intensive Outpatient, Partial Hospitalization and many Outpatient continuing care groups. The Behavioral Health Clinician 4 serves as a critical part of our clinical team; they are an independent provider who functions within the Interdisciplinary Treatment Team to provide psychotherapy and interventions in levels of care. Patients and their families will experience the benefits of patient-focused care through the integrated skills of all treatment team members.
** POSITION SUMMARY
** Clinical, leadership, and education position, including, but not limited to:
* Coordinate the clinical activities of clinical team members to achieve the most effective, efficient and evidence-based service delivery to patients & families.
* Monitor and assess practice patterns to ensure a high level of clinical expertise and positive outcomes for patients and families. Reports outcomes to management.
* Provide comprehensive diagnostic evaluation for patients with mental health complaints.
* Provide counseling/psychotherapy to individuals with mental & behavioral disorders to facilitate return to previous or improved functioning. Services provided include individual psychotherapy, group psychotherapy, and/or couple/family therapy.
* Formulate individualized treatment plans to assist patients to determine and meet treatment goals.
* Other duties include advocating within local community if needed; work as part of clinical team; maintain third-party payer relationships; and complete all necessary paperwork (e.g., disability, FMLA).
** Minimum Qualifications
**** For Hire****:
** Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling or related field;
Independent Ohio license to practice (i.e., LISW, LPCC, LICDC) with Supervisory Designation is required. A minimum of five years of experience working with patients with mental illness and/or substance use disorders is also required. Experience and/or training in at least one evidence-based psychotherapy modality (e.g., cognitive-behavioral therapy, interpersonal psychotherapy) is preferred. Prior leadership and supervisory experience is preferred.
** Ongoing****:
** Maintain licensure(s), credentials, and Buckeye Learn modules. Practice within the parameters of the Ohio Counselor and Social Work Board. Training in at least one evidence-based psychotherapy modality (e.g., cognitive-behavioral, interpersonal psychotherapy) will be required. Leadership & supervisory training may be required.## Additional Information:
