The role of the Quality Assurance Coordinator is to assist in managing the site quality management system and ensure that processes and procedures are developed in line with applicable standards and customer requirements. The Coordinator serves as a site leader in developing documents and tools to guide and improve the quality management system, and as an educator to operational personnel on quality system requirements.
Functions- Maintain, update, and add site policies, procedures, standard work instructions, and tools to improve the efficacy of the quality management system.
- Administer internal audit program, including training auditors, auditing processes and procedures, and measuring results.
- Identify training needs and organize training interventions to meet quality standards.
- Investigate customer complaints and non‑conformance issues; perform root cause analysis and corrective action investigations.
- Collect, compile, and analyze statistical quality data to identify areas for improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field; or equivalent experience (1 year per college year).
- 2‑4 years of experience in a quality assurance role.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015.
- Lead Auditor Certification preferred.
- Action Oriented – tackling new opportunities with urgency and enthusiasm.
- Collaborator – building partnerships and working collaboratively to meet objectives.
- Decision Quality – making timely, sound decisions that keep the organization moving forward.
- Process Optimization – choosing efficient processes, focusing on continuous improvement.
- Situational Adaptability – adjusting approach and demeanor to match changing demands.
- Approximately 25% travel expected.
- Passport not required but recommended.
