Job Description / RoleReporting to the Restaurant General Manager (RGM), a Pizza Hut Team Member greets customers in the restaurant or drive-thru, takes orders, handles payment, and may prepare and store food and drinks. The Team Member checks orders for accuracy and assists with packing products, while maintaining a clean, safe work and dining environment.
Responsibilities and Accountability- Ensure consistent customer satisfaction: execute responsibilities for people, customers, and service; maintain a clean and neat appearance; demonstrate that customer needs are the highest priority; ensure food safety, quality, and accuracy of orders; resolve customer complaints quickly while maintaining positive customer relations; greet customers with a smile and be polite and pleasant; work with management and fellow employees to serve customers with a sense of urgency;
communicate with customers, teammates and managers positively; cooperate with peers and work as part of a team; help others when they need a hand. - Work well with teammates and accept coaching from the management team; demonstrate a positive and enthusiastic attitude with coworkers.
- Ensure consistent food safety and product quality: execute responsibilities for people, customer, and service; ensure food safety, quality, and accuracy of orders.
- Attendance: understand posted work schedules and report to work on time, in uniform and ready to begin tasks; provide appropriate notice when unable to be at work; understand and use the approved time-keeping system and accurately record all hours worked.
- Initiative and energy: takes action without being told, goes beyond what is required and maintains a high activity level.
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Able to do basic business math
- Able to stock shelves and coolers
- Able to clean the parking lot and surrounding grounds
- Able to sweep and mop floors
- Able to lift and carry trash containers and place them in an outside bin
- Able to tolerate standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs, and stooping during 90% of shift time
