Base Pay Range

$23.60 - $27.10 per hour. Premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. See One.

Tractor‑trailer yard driver responsible for inspecting, moving, and maintaining trailers in the yard, operating tractor units, and ensuring compliance with DOT and company safety standards.

• Communicate verbally and in writing with customers, suppliers, and associates.
• Inspect trailers to ensure mechanical safety, emergency equipment, and proper fuel levels.
• Conduct trailer inventory checks and maintain accurate records.
• Use warehouse management systems, including yard management and radio, to move trailers to designated locations.
• Maintain logs, forms, and records required by DOT and company policies.
• Operate tractor‑trailer units safely, adhering to all safety requirements.
• Collaborate with team members and foster a culture of belonging and respect.
• Act with integrity, uphold Walmart values, and contribute to the organization’s regenerative goals.
• Deliver results with a customer‑first mindset and make decisions based on reliable information.
• Seek continuous improvement, embrace new technologies, and support others through change.

• Valid state‑issued driver’s license.
• Six months of experience operating tractor/trailer units.

• Additional years of yard or trailer experience.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures.
