POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Maintenance Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the functionality, safety, and appearance of our facilities. This position involves a wide range of tasks, from performing routine maintenance to troubleshooting and repairing equipment. • Perform preventive maintenance on building systems, equipment, and machinery according to established schedules.
• Inspect and repair plumbing, electrical, and other systems to ensure proper operation and compliance with safety regulations.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions and system failures promptly and efficiently.
• Conduct routine inspections of the property to identify and address maintenance needs.
• Perform basic carpentry, painting, and drywall repairs as needed.
• Maintain and repair mechanical systems.
• Monitor inventory of maintenance supplies and request replenishment as necessary.
• Handle emergency maintenance requests to ensure a safe and operational environment.
• Collaborate with contractors and vendors when necessary for specialized repairs or projects.
• Document all maintenance and repair activities in maintenance logs and reports.
• This position may require being on‑call for after‑hours or weekend emergencies.
• Lawn and grounds care, including mowing, trimming, watering, and weeding.

Physical Requirements:

• Physical ability to lift, carry, and position: up to 20 lbs. regularly, up to 50 lbs. frequently, and up to 80 lbs. occasionally.
• Must be able to constantly bend, reach above shoulder, grasp objects, climb, kneel, squat, twist and stand throughout shift.
• Must be able to push/pull up to 150 lbs. occasionally.
• Confident and comfortable operating equipment at heights up to 30 feet.
• Regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle objects, tools, or controls.
• Working in multiple environments including office and ambient refrigeration and freezer areas.

Work Environment:

• Work hours may vary, or change based on department requirements.
• The job is primarily performed in a warehouse environment.
• Regularly exposed to fast moving material handling and other mechanical equipment.
• Occasionally exposed to wet and or humid conditions, high and precarious places, vehicle emissions, toxic or caustic chemicals, outside weather conditions, and high voltage electrical equipment.
• The noise level in the work environment is typically low.
