Qualifications

• A) Bachelor's Degree in a human services field from an accredited college or university OR
• B Four (4) years of experience with the targeted population OR
• C) Four (4) years of relevant life experience or struggles that have been overcome with an ability to provide a positive example of resilience to the clients we serve.

Home Base Inc is seeking qualified persons to work with a professional and dedicated clinical team treating moderate to severe emotional and behavioral problems for boys ages 12
-17 in a unique alternative residential treatment environment. Residential counselors are involved in all aspects of the mental health treatment and care of the children, including treatment planning, counseling sessions, advocating for children within the public school setting, attending court proceedings, case management and ensuring that the children’s basic needs are met.

Outdoor recreational enthusiasts are encouraged to apply. The programs are located in the heart of wild wonderful West Virginia, less than 30 miles from the great Monongahela National Forest. The residents are provided opportunities year-round to engage in outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, fishing, rock climbing and other outdoor recreational activities.

Salary and wages range from $32,000 – $36,000 annually.
