Medcare Staffing is seeking an Urgent Care Physician Assistant for Brookhaven , GA.

In this role, you?ll be the sole provider on-site, managing a mix of urgent care and primary care visits for patients ages 2 and up. You'll have the autonomy to make clinical decisions while still being supported by a dedicated team.

On average, you?ll see around 35 patients during a 12-hour shift?just under three patients per hour?giving you time to provide thoughtful, quality care to each individual

Preferred Qualifications:

Curriculum Vitae

• Strong knowledge of medical coding, billing practices, and reimbursement procedures

• Familiarity with state and federal healthcare regulations, including OSHA, HIPAA, and blood borne pathogen standards

• Proficient in commonly used PC applications such as Microsoft Office, email, and internet browsers; comfortable navigating electronic medical records (EMR) systems

• Prior experience in occupational health, including continuing medical education (CME) standards, drug screening protocols, and workplace health practices
