Advanced Nurse Practitioner; ANP

Ardach Health Centre is seeking an Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to expand our excellent ANP team. The ANP team's main role is within the duty team triaging and managing on the day contacts while working closely with the duty doctor and support duty doctor. Other responsibilities include running a minor illness clinic, providing clinical care for nursing homes and home visits.

Our practice is a friendly, effective, teambuilding, semi‑rural practice situated along the Moray coast. Based in our purpose‑built health centre, we provide care for over 8,000 patients within Buckie and the surrounding coastal areas.

Our team includes 3 GP partners, 4 salaried GPs, 3 ANPs, a nurse consultant and a highly skilled practice nursing team. We are fortunate to have an extended pharmacy team, a first contact physiotherapist, a frailty/dementia nurse, an occupational therapist and a professional administration team. Additionally, we work closely with our district nursing team, other community colleagues and visiting consultant specialists on site.

Ardach is a training practice for students, FYs and GPSTs. We enjoy shared responsibility for our local community hospital, with care of elderly consultant ward rounds and outreach. Over the years, we have developed close working relationships with other secondary care colleagues. We have active palliative care, frailty/geriatric, mental health MDT meetings monthly and a quarterly diabetic MDT. We have two monthly Quality Improvement team meetings.
