Pay and shift hours
Our Tesco Colleague rate of pay starts from £13.28 an hour; this increases to £14.55 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.
We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, but we also accommodate part‑time schedules with a minimum of 12 hours.
We provide you with 3 weeks' notice of your shift times. We welcome flexibility; if your availability closely matches our advertised windows, we can work with you.
Availability Window- Sunday: 07:00 – 16:00
- Wednesday: 13:00 – 21:00
- Saturday: 14:00 – 21:00
- Know your customers and serve them with passion and pride.

- Work across the store in service, picking and replenishment areas where required.

EligibilityPlease note that Tesco will only recruit individuals over the age of 18 for roles that involve working before 6:15 am or after 9:45 pm or in areas such as the warehouse, beers, wines and spirits, counters, bakery, driving roles. Candidates must have passed the school leaver’s age in their country. The school leaver’s age can be found on the Tesco website.
