About the Role

At Mercedes‑Benz Financial Services, our customers are at the centre of everything we do. As a Customer Operations Specialist, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences while supporting the smooth day‑to‑day running of our contact‑centre operations.

This is a fast‑paced, varied role where no two days are the same. This is a great opportunity to develop a broad skill set and make a real impact where it matters most.

While this role is initially temporary, it provides a strong foundation for starting your career with Mercedes‑Benz Financial Services, with the potential to progress into permanent opportunities across the business.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Handling inbound customer enquiries via phone and email
  • Managing escalated queries with professionalism, empathy, and sound decision‑making
  • Identifying and supporting vulnerable customers with care and patience
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to resolve issues at the first point of contact where possible
  • Maintaining a customer‑first approach while meeting operational targets
  • Ensuring all interactions are compliant with FCA requirements, internal policies, and regulatory standards
About You
  • Have experience in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment (financial services preferred but not essential)
  • Stay calm and resilient under pressure
  • Are flexible and adaptable, happy to support where needed most
  • Communicate clearly and confidently with customers and colleagues
  • Enjoy working as part of a collaborative, team‑oriented culture
  • Are motivated by helping customers and delivering the best possible service and outcomes
