About the Role
At Mercedes‑Benz Financial Services, our customers are at the centre of everything we do. As a Customer Operations Specialist, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences while supporting the smooth day‑to‑day running of our contact‑centre operations.
This is a fast‑paced, varied role where no two days are the same. This is a great opportunity to develop a broad skill set and make a real impact where it matters most.
While this role is initially temporary, it provides a strong foundation for starting your career with Mercedes‑Benz Financial Services, with the potential to progress into permanent opportunities across the business.
What You’ll Be Doing- Handling inbound customer enquiries via phone and email
- Managing escalated queries with professionalism, empathy, and sound decision‑making
- Identifying and supporting vulnerable customers with care and patience
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to resolve issues at the first point of contact where possible
- Maintaining a customer‑first approach while meeting operational targets
- Ensuring all interactions are compliant with FCA requirements, internal policies, and regulatory standards
- Have experience in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment (financial services preferred but not essential)
- Stay calm and resilient under pressure
- Are flexible and adaptable, happy to support where needed most
- Communicate clearly and confidently with customers and colleagues
- Enjoy working as part of a collaborative, team‑oriented culture
- Are motivated by helping customers and delivering the best possible service and outcomes
- FCA regulations
- Data Protection (DPA)
- Anti‑Money Laundering
- SAF, ECCD, Code of Conduct
- Anti‑Bribery and Corruption policies
Full training will be provided.
