Forest School Leader
Location:
Field House Day Nursery, Buckingham, MK18 1ST
.
Contract:
Permanent, 37.5‑40 hours per week, 52 weeks per year. Working pattern:
Varied shifts Monday‑Friday between 07:30‑18:30. Salary: £28,412.80‑£32,427.20 per annum (pro‑rate) | £13.66‑£15.59 per hour.
- Plan and implement high‑quality, engaging forest school activities that enable children to explore their natural environment, embrace outdoor learning, and develop creativity and problem‑solving skills.
- Use the EYFS as the Key Person to ensure learning objectives are met.
- Advocate for safeguarding, ensuring every child feels safe, valued, and happy, and promote their well‑being.
- Collaborate with children, parents and colleagues, effectively communicating and building strong positive relationships.
- Hold a DfE‑approved early years qualification at level 3 or above.
- Hold a forest school qualification (or be willing to complete one with employer support).
- Experience as a forest school practitioner.
- Strong commitment to child safeguarding and well‑being.
