Role: SEN Teacher
Location: Buckingham, Buckinghamshire
Contract: Full-time - Temporary to Permanent
Start Date: September 2026
Salary: £29,344 - £44,919 (MPS/UPS)

- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to meet a range of special educational needs.
- Support students with a variety of needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties.
- Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and personalised learning strategies.
- Create a safe, structured, and inclusive classroom environment that supports learning and emotional wellbeing.
- Use a range of teaching approaches to engage students and support their individual learning styles.
- Monitor, assess, and track student progress, adapting teaching strategies accordingly.
- Work closely with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and external professionals to support student development.
- Promote positive behaviour and support students in developing social and emotional skills.
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers, providing regular updates on progress and wellbeing.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Experience working with SEN students is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of a range of special educational needs and effective support strategies.
- Patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to teaching.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families.
