Overview

MEP Quantity Surveyor – Buckinghamshire – Data Centre

We are partnering with a leading contractor active across the UK and Europe, with experience across sectors including data centres, pharmaceutical, healthcare, and energy. They are looking to strengthen their team with an experienced MEP Quantity Surveyor in Buckinghamshire.

• MEP Cost Planning & Control:
  Manage and report on costs associated with MEP systems, including power, cooling, life safety, BMS, and specialist data centre infrastructure, ensuring alignment with approved budgets.
• Procurement of MEP Packages:
  Lead or support the procurement of MEP subcontract packages, including tender evaluation, value engineering, and subcontractor appointment.
• Valuations, Variations & Final Accounts:
  Assess subcontractor valuations, manage change control, and lead the agreement of variations and final accounts for complex MEP systems.
• Technical & Commercial Interface:
  Work closely with design, construction, and commissioning teams to understand technical requirements and ensure commercial positions reflect design development and site progress.
• Reporting &
  
  Risk Management:
  
  Produce accurate cost reports and cashflows while identifying commercial risks and opportunities related to MEP scope, procurement, and delivery.

• Degree level qualification or equivalent trades background.
• 5+ years' experience in a similar role on large-scale construction projects (preferably Data Centres).
• Must be based within a commutable distance of Buckinghamshire.

£80,000 - £100,000 + Package
