Buckingham - Site Engineer - Earthworks & Drainage
 
Are you a Site Engineer with proven experience successfully delivering earthworks and drainage packages on a major project?
 
Rate: £400/ day - Umbrella, Inside IR35

Location:

Buckingham
Duration: 6 months (1-2 years worth of work)

Our client is a leading civil engineering contractor delivering works on HS2, and they are currently seeking a Site Engineer with strong earthworks, drainage or structures experience to join their team.
 
As a Site Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting construction operations on site, managing junior engineers, and ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to specification.

Key responsibilities include:

· Setting out and overseeing works to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications

· Managing and coordinating subcontractors

· Resolving technical issues in liaison with the senior engineering team

· Assisting with short-term planning, progress reporting, resource planning, and cost control

· Ensuring site teams have the correct and up-to-date information to carry out their duties
 
Requirements:

· HNC or degree in Civil Engineering.

· Proven Site Engineering experience on earthworks, drainage or structure packages.

· Strong setting out experience on ideally a major project.
