Medical Assistant​/Evenings

Job Description:

• PURPOSE OF JOB: A non-exempt clinical position responsible for performing a variety of duties in an out-patient setting where you will be assisting providers with patient care and managing clerical, environmental, and organizational tasks. Serves as a liaison to patients, insurance companies, pharmacies and other members of the healthcare team.

• Education:
  
  High school diploma, Medical Assistant diploma preferred

• Experience:
  
  Minimum one year of recent experience working in a medical facility in a clinical role preferred

  Skills:
  
  Must possess a current CPR certification and current health records with the appropriate immunizations to work in the health care field.

• Knowledge of health care field and medical office protocols/procedures.

• Interpersonal communication skills (both oral and written)

• Ability to project a pleasant and professional image.
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and complete delegated tasks.
