We're working with an established engineering organisation seeking a Head of Manufacturing Engineering to lead and develop its Manufacturing Engineering team, driving technical excellence and effective manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead, mentor and develop the Manufacturing Engineering team.
- Oversee manufacturing engineering activities, ensuring effective delivery against operational objectives.
- Drive improvements to manufacturing processes, methods and engineering standards.
- Work collaboratively with engineering, production and quality teams to resolve technical challenges.
- Support manufacturing capability, product introduction and ongoing production requirements.
- Proven experience leading a Manufacturing Engineering team within a complex engineering or manufacturing environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing processes and production support.
- Experience managing and developing engineers.
- Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- An engineering degree or equivalent experience is desirable.
