What you’ll do and bring to the team:

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools (video, phone, chat, email)
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services
• Provide clients with IRS support
• Mentor and support teammates

• Broad experience in tax and accounting context, including individual returns
• Ability to conduct tax interviews and gather information
• Experience with virtual tools (video, phone, chat)
• Experience with tax planning and audit support
• Sales and/or marketing experience (preferred)
• High school diploma or equivalent; further education in accounting/related field
• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or enrollment/completion of related coursework

• Experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax
• Experience in completing individual returns
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must complete continuing education requirements and meet IRS/state requirements
• Comfort with virtual tools and effective communication in person, by phone, and in writing
