Thisroleblendsbackenddevelopment,data engineering,andsystemsintegrationtosupportourautomationandanalyticsinitiatives.

Youllworkcloselywithdevelopers,data engineers,andAIspecialiststodeliverreliable,scalable,andintelligentinternaltools.

Thispositionisidealforadeveloperordataengineerwithstrong Pythonexperiencewhoenjoysbuildingdata-drivensystems,connectingservices,andworkingacrossmultiplelayersofthetechnologystack.

Key Responsibilities

1.Platform&Application Development

• Developandmaintainbackend
  
  APIsandinternalservicesusing
  
  Python(FastAPI+Uvicorn) and Pydanticv
  2.
• Supportthearchitectureandimplementationofsharedtoolsandlibrariesacrosstheinternalplatform.
• Buildintegrationsthatconnecttheautomatedsystem,dataingestionworkflows,andAI-enabledfeatures.

2.Data Engineering&Pipeline Development

• Designandmanagedataingestionpipelinesusing Fabric,pandas,and Postgres.
• Createrepeatable
  
  ETL/ELTworkflowsforprocessingengineeringspecifications,RFIs,andcompliancedocumentation.
  
  Workwithstructuredandunstructureddatatoimprovedataquality,consistency,and accessibility.
• Optimizedatabaseperformance,queries,andstoragestructurestosupportanalyticsand
  
  AIworkloads.
• Collaboratewiththe Dev Opsand AIteamstoimplementdataversioning,schemaevolution,andlineagetracking.

3.AI&System Integration

• Partner with
  
  AI/MLengineerstointegratemachinelearningmodelsand
  
  LLM-basedfeaturesintoproductionapplications.
• Develop
  
  APIsandservicesformodelinference,data enrichment,andpromptorchestration.
• Contributetoongoingeffortstoembed
  
  AIcapabilitieswithininternalsystemsandautomationworkflows.

4.Quality,Reliability&Observability

• Write clean,tested,andmaintainablecodeusingpytest,Ruff,andpre-commitworkflows.
• Support
  
  CI/CDprocesses(Hatch,Makefile) toensuresmoothdeploymentandintegration
• Implementmonitoring,metrics,anddashboardsusing
  
  Prometheusand
  
  Grafanaforvisibilityintosystemhealth.

5.Collaboration&Continuous Improvement

• Workcloselywithdataengineers,developers,andDevOpstodeliverconsistent,well-documentedreleases.
• Participateincodereviews,designdiscussions,andarchitectureimprovements.
• Suggestenhancementstodevelopertooling,automation,andobservabilitypractices.
• Contributetodocumentationforworkflows,data pipelines,andserviceconfigurations.

Qualifications

Strongexperiencecodingin Pythonforbackendanddataworkflows.

Hands-onexperiencewith

FastAPI,Pydantic,andasynchronous

APIdevelopment.

Workingknowledgeof

SQL,Fabric,and Postgres.

Experiencedesigningandmaintaining

ETL/ELTpipelinesusingpandasorsimilarframeworks.

Familiarity with Azureservicesfordeployment,storage,ororchestration.

Understanding of

CI/CD pipelines,logging,andmonitoringpractices.

Interestinorbasicexperiencewith

AI/MLintegration,including

NLPorLLM-based systems.

Abilitytolearnnewtoolsquicklyandworkcollaborativelyinamultidisciplinaryengineeringenvironment.
