From the moment I was contacted by the hiring staff, my experience has been nothing but positive. The team dynamic in the sign shop is one of the best I’ve encountered—we work so well together that we’ve become more like family. We regularly discuss safety, with weekly topics and quarterly meetings, and constantly brainstorm new safety measures to implement. The positive feedback from my supervisor and teammates is invaluable.

The quality of our work is reflected in the signs we produce, which are used statewide to keep people safe on the roads.

As a relatively new employee to Road Safe Traffic systems, and as someone who has never worked in the construction industry, I was immediately drawn to the opportunity for learning and growth that my position with Road Safe would afford me. Since being with the company, I have been given multiple projects to help improve communication and strengthen friendships among team members.

I also know that my desire to learn and improve my workplace is heard by my Branch and Operations Managers as they are continuously looking for more ways to help me grow. Since being a member of the Road Safe team, I have been impressed with the emphasis on safety within the company. Safety Moments start each meeting, Pre and Post checks keep vehicles in top working order and wearing PPE is mandated to keep each employee safe and ensures we all go home to our families at the end of the day.

I have been a part of the Road Safe team for over a year now, in two different roles. During my time here, I have worked with amazing individuals in not only the HR team, but also the operations team in my local area. Being able to work in each department, I have come to recognize how the organization runs together and how even in different departments, team members have your back!

Road Safe goes the extra length to ensure that safety is a priority, but also that their team is being taken care of. When transitioning to a new role, I received so much support and have had the opportunity to learn many new facets of the industry.
