Four Hands is one of the largest home furnishing distributors in Austin, TX. We operate out of seven locations with nearly 1,000,000 sqft of warehouse space. A role in our distribution center means getting products to our customers as quickly as possible. As a Shipping Coordinator, you’ll be a central figure in our logistics operation, working closely with our shipping leads to ensure efficient freight management.
Your responsibilities will include overseeing outbound shipments, managing large volumes of packages, and addressing various freight tasks. This role is crucial for maintaining the smooth operation of our shipping processes and ensuring timely delivery to our customers.

What you will do and why it matters
Responsibilities- Move finished goods to designated staging lanes, ensuring accurate placement and that all items are accounted for
- Meet productivity goals set by leadership, demonstrating a proactive approach and contributing to overall warehouse efficiency
- Navigate the Korber warehouse management system to manage inventory and orders accurately
- Follow the daily auditing plan, prioritize tasks, and maintain workflow continuity, particularly in the absence of leads or management
- Address and resolve issues with nonconforming items, such as mislabeled or damaged goods, ensuring adherence to quality standards
- Load and unload containers or trucks
- Use a handheld scanner to audit warehouse lanes, ensuring accurate inventory tracking and data integrity
- Identify items using computer systems, inventory labels (LPN), shipping labels, and packing slips for accurate order fulfillment
- Maintain a clean and organized area, including emptying trash bins and wiping down the computer cart daily

- Other duties as assigned by Management
- 2+ years of warehouse or shipping experience in a fast-paced environment
- High School diploma or GED equivalency required
- Familiarity with shipping documentation, scanners, and labeling processes
- Ability to lift, move, and manage materials up to 50 lbs. and stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift
- Must be willing and able to work overtime as needed and/or required
- Good communication skills
