The Facilities Manager will be responsible for the overall management, maintenance, and development of the Club's facilities and infrastructure. The role oversees day‑to‑day facility operations, maintenance, housekeeping, security, and infrastructure projects, while ensuring the Club provides a safe, well‑maintained, and welcoming environment for members, guests, employees, and visitors.
Responsibilities:- Manage capital projects from commencement to completion, including project planning, contractor selection, procurement coordination, scheduling, risk management and final handover, ensuring successful project delivery.
- Oversee all Club construction, renovation and expansion projects, ensuring works are completed in accordance with approved specifications, budgets, timelines and quality standards.
- Coordinate and manage contractors and suppliers throughout the project development, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, health and safety requirement policies.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance program to address the upkeep and repair needs of buildings, grounds, equipment and amenities.
- Conduct regular inspections and assessments of facilities to identify maintenance requirements, hazards and opportunities for improvement, prioritizing and scheduling work orders accordingly.
- Manage budgets, track expenses and improve resource allocation to achieve cost‑effective practices without compromising quality standards.
- Managing the team, providing guidance, training and support to ensure high-quality and timely completion of tasks.
- Project manages all capital expenditure programs to ensure agreed timescales and budgets are maintained.
- Collaborate with other departments, event planners, and stakeholders to support the successful execution of events, activities, and projects that require facility resources.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering/Facilities Management, or related field is preferred.
- 7-10 Years experience in facilities/project management, preferably in a sports or recreational setting
- Customer‑focused, proactive, motivated, highly organized and multi‑tasker
