Overview

Knott's Preserved is a musical production at the Calico Mine Stage. Auditions will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2026. Sign in starts at 12:30pm. Please schedule an audition reservation via the provided link. The production celebrates Knott's Berry Farm heritage with music, dance, and storytelling.

Rehearsals begin February 2026. Cast must commit to all rehearsals and shows. Bring a recent photo and resume.

Compensation: $20.65/hr.

Actors/Singers Requirements

• Versatile and dynamic singers who can move and dance.
• Prepare 16 bars of a standard musical theatre song selection.
• An accompanist will be provided; bring appropriate sheet music.
• Dance combination may be taught to selected candidates.

Stay at the audition until at least 5pm.

• Use your talents to enrich Knott's Berry Farm's atmosphere for guests.
• Work as a member of a team to achieve overall atmosphere and goals set by entertainment leadership and show directors.
• Consistently perform your role as scripted and/or conceived.
• Remain in character while on-stage and in view of guests, interacting with guests in a professional and artistic manner.
• Provide guest service according to Six Flags standards when serving or working with subordinates.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in assigned work area and comply with Six Flags safety guidelines.
• Meet scheduling availability requirements, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Fulfilling attendance requirements as outlined in the Six Flags attendance policy.
• Adhere to the Six Flags Rules of Conduct including costuming and grooming standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Availability to work all assigned rehearsal and event dates, including weekdays, weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Singing experience (required).
• Dance experience (preferred).
• Willingness and ability to wear heavy make-up, wigs, and assigned wardrobe for extended periods.
• Willingness to perform in outdoor venues in varying Southern California temperatures and weather conditions.
• Ability to pass background checks (if 18 years of age or older).
• Ability to provide record of previous employment, education, and references as required by company policy.
