Six Flags Entertainment Corporation is hiring a bartender for Knott’s Hotel. Compensation is $16.50 per hour.

Location:

Buena Park, CA.

• Make mixed, hot and cold beverages following standard recipes.
• Serve alcoholic and non‑alcoholic drinks to guests at the bar and service bar.
• Merchandise drinks and craft cocktails to meet guest expectations.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area and service equipment.
• Operate within full compliance of state liquor laws, regulations, health‑code and sanitation guidelines.
• Conduct basic cash and credit card transactions accurately.
• Read guests and suggest appropriate beverages and food items.
• Follow company policies on responsible alcohol service, including the ability to slow down or refuse service to intoxicated patrons.
• Maintain glassware, utensils and other bar supplies in stock and clean condition.
• Adhere to standard coffee, tea, hot chocolate and iced beverage procedures.
• Help manage auxiliary bar output, including power‑up of a beer keg, preparation of pre‑made beers and ordering/receiving of other specialty drinks.
• Support full‑bar service with drafted cocktails and specialty drinks as needed.
• Assist with the operation of a 10‑deck service bar, providing dry‑ bar items and scratch‑off prizes.
• Use the bar POS system to record guest orders and total receipts.
• Accept and record cash and charge‑card shifts within the change‑over window.
• Keep a record of potential product waste, ensure product safety standards are met and maintain the required sanitation logs.
• Forecast sales and inventory needs based on previous trends.
• Show up on time for scheduled shifts and adhere to company employee scheduling guidelines.
• Provide excellent customer service in a professional, friendly way.
• Participate in team huddles and weekly meetings, offering suggestions for improvement.
• Maintain the proper storage and security of the liquor system.

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience mixing and making alcoholic drinks.
• Ability to multi‑task and manage multiple service stations.
• Availability for nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to pass a background check (credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment).
• Preferred availability:
  Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
• Age requirement 21 + years.
