Paraplanner – Financial Planning & Retirement (Onsite | Buffalo Grove, IL)

We are seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join a well-established financial services firm with 10+ years of success. This is a behind-the-scenes, technical role focused on financial planning, retirement strategies, investment analysis, and Excel-based modeling
, supporting Lead Advisors and client planning workflows.

• Prepare comprehensive financial plans and retirement income strategies
• Create investment portfolio summaries and asset allocation analyses
• Assist with tax planning data input and scenario analysis
• Support client onboarding and advisor meeting follow-ups
• Run annuity illustrations using online quote tools
• Manage planning tasks and one-off financial analysis requests
• Collaborate with advisors and internal team members

• 3–5 years of experience in paraplanning, financial planning, or advisor support
• Strong background in retirement planning, investments, and portfolio analysis
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, modeling)
• Bachelor's degree required
• CFP, CPA, Series 65/66 preferred but not required
• Highly detail-oriented with strong multitasking skills
• Seeking a full-time, in-office role

• Direct Hire | Onsite – Buffalo Grove, IL
• Schedule:
  
  Mon–Thu 9 am–5 pm | Fri 9 am–2:30 pm
• Salary: $70,000–$125,000+ (DOE)
