We are looking for a talented CNC Grinder Machinist to join our production facility in Buffalo Grove, IL. This position focuses on the operation of grinding machinery and standard shop tools to manufacture precision components that meet strict specifications. We need a detail-oriented professional who can interpret engineering documentation and effectively manage CNC equipment.
Schedule and CompensationThis is a direct hire opportunity for the first shift, running Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with a pay range of $30 to $34 per hour depending on your experience.
Core DutiesYou will utilize various conventional shop tools, such as saws and grinders, to fabricate and finish a variety of parts.
- Configure machinery and modify feed, speed, and depth settings to guarantee that all components align with engineering requirements.
- Verify that finished parts meet all necessary tolerances through thorough inspection.
- Utilize technical drawings and engineering instructions to create precise components.
- Support production goals by operating CNC equipment as the workflow dictates.
- Help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team by keeping the shop area clean.
Candidates should possess an Associate’s degree in a relevant discipline, have completed military technical training, or hold equivalent professional experience.
- At least two years of hands-on experience working with CNC machinery.
- Proven background in grinding small, intricate parts.
- Experience with manual machining processes is considered a plus.
- Previous work history within a machine shop environment is preferred.
- Demonstrate a dedication to quality by ensuring every component produced is accurate and precise.
