Part-Time LPN Medication Nurse

Role Overview: As an LPN Medication Nurse, you will provide licensed nursing support by safely administering medications, monitoring residents’ health, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration
• Accurately document in MAR/TAR in real time
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications for relief
• Report refusals or adverse reactions promptly
• Conduct Service & Health Updates (SHUs)
• Transcribe physician orders and support care plan updates
• Observe and report physical, emotional, or cognitive changes
• Maintain medication carts, complete narcotic counts, and ensure compliance standards

Qualifications & Skills:

• CPR and First Aid certification
• Strong assessment and documentation skills
• Experience in senior care or medication administration preferred
