LPN Medication Nurse

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Medication Nurse provides licensed nursing support in a senior living environment, ensuring safe medication administration, health monitoring, and accurate documentation.

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, following the Six Rights of Medication Administration
• Accurately document in MAR/TAR in real-time
• Monitor residents' symptoms and administer medications for relief
• Report any refusals or adverse reactions promptly
• Conduct Service & Health Updates and support care plan updates
• Observe and report physical, emotional, or cognitive changes
• Maintain medication carts, perform narcotic counts, and ensure compliance with regulations

• Active LPN license in good standing
• CPR and First Aid certifications
• Strong assessment and documentation skills
• Experience in senior care or medication administration preferred

This role is vital in preventing medication errors, early identification of health changes, and safeguarding resident safety through clinical precision and regulatory adherence.
