Receiving Clerk

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Receiving Clerk to join our team in Buffalo Grove, IL. As a Receiving Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our inventory is accurately tracked and managed. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a knack for organization, we want to hear from you! You will also be cross trained in the Shipping Department.

Responsibilities Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.

Document and record all received items in the inventory management system.

Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to resolve any discrepancies.

Maintain a clean and organized receiving area.

Assist in inventory counts and audits as needed.

Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow.

Adhere to safety protocols and company policies at all times.

Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.

Proven experience in a receiving or warehouse role preferred.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to lift heavy items and operate warehouse equipment.

Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management software.

Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.
