Dental Assistant – Associated Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons

We’re looking for skilled Oral Surgery Dental Assistants to join our Maple Grove location. In this role, you’ll assist the Oral Surgeon with procedures, ensure smooth operations, provide excellent patient care, and support anesthesia administration. • Monday – Thursday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Friday: 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM

• Assist the Oral Surgeon with the delivery of treatment to patients
• Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment
• Provide a high level of patient care and ensure patient comfort
• Digital X‑Rays
• Maintain accurate patient records (EMR)
• Monitor and maintain inventory of medical and surgical supplies
• Provide post‑operative care instructions to the patient
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and sterile work environment
• Exposure to extractions (local and general) is helpful along with a strong chairside skillset

• Completion of an Accredited Dental Assisting Program – new grads are encouraged to apply
• Current Dental Certification / Licensure
• Current BLS/CPR or ACLS Certification
• Nitrous Oxide Certification
• Allied Sedation Certification (we will assist with obtaining this certification if needed)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well within a team environment
• Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
• Ability to multi‑task and prioritize tasks effectively
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise professionalism at all times

$28‑$32 hourly

Location:

Maple Grove, MN – the position requires floating between the Buffalo and Monticello locations.
