Clinical Technician (Entry-Level)

Lansing, MI
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (1‑hour lunch)
We are seeking an Entry‑Level Clinical Technician to support respiratory care services. This role involves working at the branch location and occasionally traveling to hospitals and assisted living facilities to assist Respiratory Therapists with equipment setup, troubleshooting, and patient education. When not on‑site, you will provide customer service support at the branch.
Responsibilities- Clinical Support:
- Assist Respiratory Department staff with equipment setup and troubleshooting.
- Educate patients and caregivers on proper use and care of respiratory equipment (CPAP, BiPAP, Oxygen, Nebulizers, etc.).
- Explain financial responsibilities and complete all required paperwork (delivery tickets, safety checklists, instruction forms).
- Customer Service:
- Answer inbound calls, make outbound calls, and respond to emails.
- Process orders, verify referral information, and schedule equipment delivery.
- Route calls appropriately and follow up as needed.
- Training & Travel:
- Hands‑on training provided; approximately 1 month to become independent.
- Travel is local (1–2 hours max) using a company vehicle; frequency depends on patient needs.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ year experience in healthcare administration, insurance, claims, billing, call center, or customer service.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Excellent customer service, problem‑solving, and multitasking skills.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Buffalo, MN.
Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
