Position Summary

We are seeking a highly reliable and organized Veterinary Receptionist to serve as the primary point of contact for our clinic. This position requires the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while coordinating appointment scheduling for multiple veterinarians, including surgery and clinic days, managing veterinary technician appointment schedules, and supporting rescue group scheduling needs. Strong communication, problem-solving, and computer skills are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet clients professionally and provide excellent customer service in person and by phone
  • Schedule and coordinate appointments for multiple veterinarians, technicians, and rescue partners
  • Manage a high volume of calls, emails, and in-person inquiries simultaneously
  • Accurately enter and maintain client and patient information in the clinic management system
  • Handle end-of-day reconciliation and prepare daily deposits
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with clients, staff, and external partners
  • Assist with general administrative and organizational duties to support clinic operations
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
Required

Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong multitasking and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong computer skills, including scheduling systems and basic office software
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a busy clinical setting
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous veterinary clinic reception experience highly preferred
Schedule (Non-Negotiable)

$18.00 - $19.50 /hour DOE
