We are seeking a highly reliable and organized Veterinary Receptionist to serve as the primary point of contact for our clinic. This position requires the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while coordinating appointment scheduling for multiple veterinarians, including surgery and clinic days, managing veterinary technician appointment schedules, and supporting rescue group scheduling needs. Strong communication, problem-solving, and computer skills are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities- Greet clients professionally and provide excellent customer service in person and by phone
- Schedule and coordinate appointments for multiple veterinarians, technicians, and rescue partners
- Manage a high volume of calls, emails, and in-person inquiries simultaneously
- Accurately enter and maintain client and patient information in the clinic management system
- Handle end-of-day reconciliation and prepare daily deposits
- Communicate clearly and effectively with clients, staff, and external partners
- Assist with general administrative and organizational duties to support clinic operations
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong multitasking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong computer skills, including scheduling systems and basic office software
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a busy clinical setting
- Previous veterinary clinic reception experience highly preferred
$18.00 - $19.50 /hour DOE
