Automotive Cashier; Part-Time

Ryan Auto Mall is currently hiring for part-time cashier at our Buffalo Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram location. The Service Cashier processes monetary and credit card transactions as well as completes and closes repair orders for the dealership’s clients.

Hours:

2-3 weekdays (3pm-6pm); must be able to work at least 2 Saturdays per month (8am-5pm)

• Prints repair orders, parts invoices, bills, itemized lists, and tickets showing amount due
• Records amounts received and prepare cash reports of transactions
• Balances cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift
• Processes repair orders, operates credit card and Telecheck machines
• Maintains records of daily transaction documentation
• Calculates discounts, coupons and charges and apply to proper accounts on repair order
• Processes and receives Finance and Insurance (F&I) and necessary sales monies
• Assists in scheduling courtesy transportation
• Processes mail
• Assists receptionist with phone calls

High school students welcome, must be 16. Have one to three months related experience and/or willing to train; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ryan Auto Mall is a family owned and operated dealership in Buffalo and Monticello, Minnesota. In 1960, Mr. Robert Ryan Sr. opened his first dealership in South Dakota.
