Auto Technician

Overview

We need a committed, hardworking and experienced AUTO TECHNICIAN to meet our growing demand at our auto service location. Part-time and Full-time availability with flexible hours. Must have some Saturday availability.

• Performs work outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy
• Diagnoses causes of most malfunctions and performs repair
• Perform repairs to manufacturer and customer specifications
• Examines vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is recommended
• Communicates with service advisors
• Documents all work performed and recommended
• Road tests vehicle (when required)
• Ensure customer’s car is kept clean
• Ensures work area is maintained and clean
• Operates all tools and equipment safely
• Performs shop equipment maintenance and possible repairs
• All other duties as assigned

• 2 years’ experience (Preferred) - will train the right candidate.
• ASE Certification (Preferred)
• NY Motor Vehicle Inspection License (Preferred)

Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour
