Position Overview

We are seeking Customer Service Representatives to join a fast-paced customer support team within the banking industry. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain professional experience in banking, customer service, and financial services.

In this role, you will assist customers with account questions, online and mobile banking, card-related inquiries, technical issues, and general banking services. You will work across multiple systems to research questions, troubleshoot problems, and provide a positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

+ Provide high-quality customer service via inbound customer calls.

+ Identify, research, and resolve customer questions and concerns efficiently.

+ Educate customers on available banking products and services.

+ Assist customers with online banking, mobile applications, bill pay, and other digital services.

+ Troubleshoot online access and other basic technical issues.

+ Assist with debit and credit card-related questions.

+ Utilise multiple customer databases and computer systems to research and document interactions.

+ Work towards resolving customer inquiries during the first call whenever possible.

+ Follow established call procedures, policies, scripts, and confidentiality requirements.

+ Handle difficult or frustrated customers professionally and tactfully.

+ Complete outbound customer calls as assigned and document results.

+ Meet productivity, service, call quality, attendance, and performance expectations.

+ Collaborate with team members in a fast-paced call center environment.

Qualifications

+ Previous customer service experience preferred.

+ Call center or banking experience is a plus, but not required.

+ Strong computer skills and ability to navigate multiple systems.

+ Comfortable learning new technology and online platforms.

+ Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills.

+ Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

+ Ability to remain professional and composed when handling challenging customer situations.

+ Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

+ Reliable attendance and ability to adhere to assigned schedules.

+ Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Schedule

This position requires flexibility within a rotating call center schedule.

+ Start times may range from 8:00 AM to 11:30 AM.

+ Shifts may include early, mid, and later schedules.

+ Some shifts may run until approximately 8:00 PM.

+ Saturday availability is required on a rotating basis.

+ Some weeks may include a half-day shift.

+ Schedules may rotate based on business and call-volume needs.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Buffalo, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.50/hr.
