Non-Invasive Cardiologist needed for Northtowns Cardiology, an independent single specialty cardiology group in most desirable Suburbs of Buffalo, NY. Join a team of four Cardiologists and five Advanced Practice Providers.

Salary: Starting salary: $600,. Two years to partnership, with increase in income.

Job Description:

We are a private cardiology practice located in Amherst, NY, a Suburb of Buffalo, NY. We are a unique, non-invasive, out-patient cardiology group which is growing.

We currently have four full-time cardiologists and four Advanced Practice Providers in our practice.

In addition to consultation, we offer all non-invasive cardiology studies including nuclear stress testing, echocardiography, ABI testing, stress echocardiography, exercise stress testing, EKG, Holter monitoring and event monitoring.

We have two Nuclear Cameras and 8 Echocardiography Labs.

Office in recently constructed 11,000 square foot building.

Our work schedule is Monday through Friday. Typical workdays for patient care are 8 am-5 pm.

There is no obligation for hospital calls or rounding, which lends itself to an excellent lifestyle and greater work/life balance.

For those interested in keeping connection to inpatient cardiology, there is option to cover in-patient teaching cardiology consult service at Buffalo General Medical Center / Gates Vascular Institute, the largest Kaleida Health facility and a major teaching affiliate of Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University of Buffalo. This involves rounding with Cardiology Fellows and Medical residents from Monday to Friday.

There is no weekend coverage needed and the blocks are one week long at a time.

• 1:5 calls, only for out-patient practice. On an average, we get < 2 calls per evening on weekdays and 3 calls per day on weekends.
• Predictable 8AM – 5 PM office schedule.
• New 11,000 Sq. ft facility with two nuclear cameras and eight echo / stress test labs.
• On-site and off-site transcription and EMR, eliminating the need to create point and click notes and save time.
• Prompt access to electrophysiology, coronary angiography / interventions and cardiac surgery.
• Starting salary: $600,000 to $650,000 with two years to partnership.
