Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, Department of Medicine and Department of Pediatrics, is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Internal Medicine-Pediatrics (Med-Peds) Hospitalist for a full-time academic position. This unique dual role offers the opportunity to practice both adult and pediatric hospital medicine at Buffalo General Medical Center and John R. Oishei Children’s Hospital, two premier institutions within the Kaleida Health system.
- Provide inpatient care to adult patients at Buffalo General Medical Center and pediatric patients at Oishei Children's Hospital
- Participate in teaching and supervision of medical students and residents from the Jacobs School of Medicine
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a dynamic, academic, and patient-centered environment
- Engage in scholarly activity, quality improvement, or clinical research as part of academic responsibilities
- Participate in departmental conferences, educational sessions, and faculty development opportunities
- Shared coverage of hospitalist services, including night and weekend responsibilities
- Opportunity to practice in both adult and pediatric hospitalist setting
- Academic appointment through the Jacobs School of Medicine, with access to resources and support for scholarly work
